RECOVERING — currently WEAK, but the trend is turning up.
DETERIORATING — currently STRONG, but the trend is turning down.
STABLE — no clear multi-timeframe trend (mixed directions or too weak a fit).

Momentum is computed per timeframe: 8 H1 bars, 8 H4 bars, and 8 daily closes. Each timeframe gets its own linear-regression slope and R². A direction is declared only when |slope| ≥ 0.125 points/bar and R² ≥ 0.30. The final label comes from agreement across timeframes, not from weighted averaging.
